About the speaker
ACA member Don Baker is a PhD in computer science who works as a researcher in the telecommunication field. Don has taught the theory of computation at UT and has a strong interest in evolutionary biology and memetics. The talk will describe the field of genetic algorithms where the process of evolution has been successfully applied to create novel solutions to a wide variety of problems.
