AAI Convention will be September 2007June 21, 2007 Consider going to the Atheist Alliance International conference in late September in Washington DC. There will be a slew of great speakers and Washington DC is a great place to explore while you're there. Crystal City is just a couple of metro stops from Washington Reagan airport. The group hotel rate is very reasonable for the area and you can easily make the trip without renting a car.ACA is a member organization of AAI, so you'll be with family! |

From the officers: The ACA Lecture Series continues Sunday, September 12th, 12:15pm at the Austin History Center. Dr. James Dee will speak on "The Second Wave of Secular Humanism: How Scholarship Undermines Religion" From the officers: The next ACA Board Meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 12th after the lecture at Dog & Duck Pub. Members are encouraged to attend. The 2010 ACA Bat Cruise is slated for Saturday, September 25th, 6-8pm. Get your payment in early to reserve your place at this popular event. You may pay for tickets online via our products page. New: Take in the other events we have planned for that day: a lecture, dinner, and a comedy show. The 2010 Voters' Guide project has been launched. Questionnaires were sent to 455 candidates on September 7th. The NonProphets radio program is on hiatus until late September. |
