CFI invites ACA to monthly games nightsMay 26, 2007 Note: This event was discontinued in September 2007.The second Wednesday of every month will be a game night in conjunction with CFI Austin at Thor's Hammer. CFI Austin has on ongoing game night every Wednesday 7pm-11:30pm. ACA is invited to the second Wednesday event. Participants are encouraged to bring a game, if possible. From the officers: The ACA Lecture Series continues Sunday, September 12th, 12:15pm at the Austin History Center. Dr. James Dee will speak on "The Second Wave of Secular Humanism: How Scholarship Undermines Religion" From the officers: The next ACA Board Meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 12th after the lecture at Dog & Duck Pub. Members are encouraged to attend. The 2010 ACA Bat Cruise is slated for Saturday, September 25th, 6-8pm. Get your payment in early to reserve your place at this popular event. You may pay for tickets online via our products page. New: Take in the other events we have planned for that day: a lecture, dinner, and a comedy show. The 2010 Voters' Guide project has been launched. Questionnaires were sent to 455 candidates on September 7th. The NonProphets radio program is on hiatus until late September. |
