2008 Hell House Trip Planned
October 13, 2008
This year's ACA outing to Hell House will be on Saturday, October 25th.
As most of you know, Hell House is a Pentacostal Christian production
consisting of ridiculous morality plays. It is among the more absurd
and extreme Hell Houses and was featured in the 2001 documentary "Hell
House." Several of us went last year and had a great time. It is
located in Cedar Hill, TX (just south of Dallas). As with last year, we
will be meeting at the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek in North Austin and
carpooling up to the event. We should leave around 2 pm, so it would be
good to get to the Alamo around 1:40 to allow for driving arrangements.
We will group people with drivers and make a stop for food along the way.
Admission is $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased online in
advance, and there is a possibility of securing reservations, so please
RSVP to Shilling if you can. Once we have a large enough group, we can try to get
reservations to lessen the amount of time spent in line.
