For some reason, I have not seen a discussion of the Plato's cave allegory in this forum

Not to say that it has not been discussed. I just have not seen it (note the difference). Please, point me to the discussion if it exists.

The allegory brings interesting points:

- What is "objective reality" a. k. a. "absolute truth"? - More importantly, how do we know that "reality" is real or "truth" is true? What is the criterion of truth?
